Jasper Municipality Cemetery is just north of Jasper. The cemetery has approximately 924 known interments and was established about 1920. The cemetery is almost hidden from the highway and is mostly surrounded by mature pine trees. There is a low trimmed hedge in the front and along the west side. The cemetery is approximately 3 acres in size. There are some interesting older headstones.
The first known interment was Pte. Abram Abramson birth is unknown and passed away June 3, 1920.
On June 30, 1920, a tragic house fire claimed the lives of five members of the Bonner family.
