Deep Water is the stories of three women who are linked by their children attending the same school.
Kate Riverty is a wealthy woman, married, but estranged from her husband Guy. She wants Guy back and stages the disappearance of her daughter Lucinda in an attempt to lure him back.
Lisa Kallisto runs a kennels and is married to Joe. She accepts a party invite from Kate. At the party she gets drunk and ends up having sex with Kate’s brother in law, Adam, in the bathroom. She struggles with the guilt and eventually confesses to Joe. It takes Lisa some time to make up with Joe.
Roz Toovey is a physiotherapist married to Winston, who is a gambler ands unable to earn enough money. Her brother Pete has helped financially in the past, but can no longer help her. With crippling debts and facing eviction, Roz agrees to sleep with one of her clients, Scott Elias, in return for cash. Life gets complicated for Roz when she is blackmailed and assaulted by her practice manager who has CCTV of her activities. In the end Roz publicly confesses to Winston where the money has been coming from at a party at Scott’s house.
