The lacquered, brown-wooden, vertically-slatted bench is in the Rose Garden of the Wollongong Botanic Garden at Keiraville. It also has wooden armrests to the ends. It has a view to the open Gazebo in the centre, where information was found for the Adventure Lab Cache. A brushed stainless steel plaque, possibly laser-etched, is inset to the wooden top backrest slat, and reads:
