Set in stone at the entrance to the gardens it is being used as an honesty box for visitors to the garden. It is under cover in a gazebo which is also an information point for the gardens.

The Plantation Garden is a rare example of a Victorian Garden, once private but now open to the public. It was created between 1856-1897 by local philanthropist Henry Trevor. Created in a former quarry the gardens were restored in the 1980's by volunteers who formed the trust that now runs the gardens. The link to their site is: https://www.plantationgarden.co.uk/
