The mark is a disk engraved "US Coast & Geodetic Survey Disk #1058", and is set in a concrete post approx. 6 in. above grade. It is located on the E side of East River Road in the town of Rush, NY, approx. 20 ft. E of the N bound side of the road. The disk is visible from the road, but is located on a private residence (#6292 East River Road), and has been incorporated in the the stone fence landscaping around the front yard. There is a metal witness post directly behind the marker. The marker is also right across the street from Remelt's Christmas Tree farm.
