Sainte-Maxime is a tourist town at the Côte d'Azur. The town is located at the Golfe de Saint-Tropez, a bay in the Mediterranean Sea. Saint-Tropez is on the other side of the bay opposite of Sainte-Maxime.
The official tourist information office is housed in a freestanding, round building at the promenade Prom. Simon Lorière. The port as well as the beach of Sainte-Maxime are nearby. Other touristic establishments like the theater Théâtre de la Mer, the casino Casino Barrière, a carousel and a trampoline site are also at the promenade just around the corner.
