In the Alachua County Veteran's Memorial Park also known as the Kanapaha Veteran's Memorial Park is a time capsule that was placed there on Veteran's Day on November 11, 1997. It was place by the Gator 90 Chapter of Disabled American Veterans. It is to be opened 50 years later on Veteran's Day 2047.
