Tucked away behind the corner of a war memorial this cut bench mark is described in the (visit link) website as a "Bolt" but there is no sign of there ever was one.

"This bench mark was used during the First primary levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 83.9480 feet [25.5874 metres] above mean sea level (Liverpool datum). It was included on the Worcester to Aberystwyth levelling line. The surveyor's description was No. 42. Bolt in East end of St. Ann's Church, Bewdley ; 2.37 ft. above surface"
