This fountain is located in front of a neoclassical building in Bamberg's Bergstadt (Hill Town) quarter.

Its main piece is a Volute, a scroll-like ornament, crowned by a Putto.

The fountain was designed in 1915 by Max Hofstetter und Franz Bauer.
