In Westminster, Carroll County, Maryland, a brass disk set on top of a concrete curb near the intersection of Maryland routes 140 and 97. Disk is not documented on the geocaching.com database and not documented on the NGS database.

Mark is a brass disk labeled W-1, set in the curb on the south side of Maryland route 140, just east of the exit to 140 from Taco Bell. Per the Carroll County Survey Control datasheet:

A Carroll County control disk set in the top of a concrete curb in front of the vacant Lone Star in the Crossroad Square Shopping Center. The shopping center being at the intersection of Md. Rte. 140 and Md. Rte. 97 on the east side of Westminster. To reach the station from this intersection go east along Md. Rte. 140 for about 0.2 miles to the station on your right.

(note: the Lone Star referenced in the description is now a Chipotle)
