Along Highway 3, the "Crowsnest Highway", there are lots of boulders. Only a small handful sport benchmarks as fedoras.

This is one of that few, with a benchmark monumented in its top. On the north side of the highway and just south of the Similkameen River, 83C089 is accompanied by a plastic witness marker on a steel pipe post. The boulder is immediately east of a private driveway.
