ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONThe Wasp was a self-propelled flamethrower. The projector was mounted on the front of a modified Universal Carrier fitted with a 341-litre fuel tank. The Wasp could hurl a burning stream of fuel up to 90 metres. Terrifying to the enemy, this weapon was sometimes equally hazardous for its Allied operators if the fuel tank was hit and exploded.
