Langs de Maas in Limburg bij het kerkdorp Grubbenvorst ligt op een heuvel een ruïne van een kasteel, dat het 'Gebroken Slot' wordt genoemd. Men vindt er de overblijfselen van twee ronde torens en van wat muren. Dat is alles wat er over is van het kasteel, dat vermoedelijk door troepen van de Hertog van Parma in 1585 werd verwoest.

Along the Maas in Limburg near the church village of Grubbenvorst, there is a ruin of a castle on a hill called the 'Broken Castle'. One can find the remains of two round towers and some walls. That is all that is left of the castle, which was probably destroyed by troops of the Duke of Parma in 1585.
