During the 1980's, Carn Marth an open air theatre was created when a group of people formed into a Charity to protect the hill and its surroundings from development. They transformed a disused quarry into Amphitheatre.

It is posted on the web site that a show is put on once a year ( that could explain all the vegetation overgrowth at the time of my visit).
Access around the outside of the theatre, around the perimeter of the quarry is not advisable, due to overgrowth and risk of fall.
