A "You Are Here" map along the western edge of the main parking lot illustrates the layout of 16 soccer field locations at Progin Park in Lancaster, Massachusetts. Literally hundreds of youth soccer matches are played here every weekend during the Fall and Spring seasons.

The map is incorporated in a bulletin board style structure that has two square posts, two mid sections, and a sham gable roof topper all consisting of weathered wood. The map and a small bulletin board above it have plexiglass fronts.

The map is mainly green, corresponding to the fields and surrounding woodlands. The parking areas and roads are light gray. The "You Are Here" spot is indicated in red lettering with a long red arrow pointing straight to a big red "X" in the center of the map. This map is oriented with North pointing right to give the viewer a perspective that matches the property layout from its vantage -- Fields 1 - 10 are to behind you to the left; Fields 11 - 15 are down the hill ahead of you.

Nestled along the Mohawk Trail in Lancaster Massachusetts is one of the premier soccer complexes in the country. Opened in 2007, the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Fields at Progin Park is a field facility with 11 natural grass and five synthetic turf fields. Each field meets FIFA international regulation guidelines in size (110 yards x 75 yards). The natural grass fields are Kentucky Blue Grass and each field is maintained at the highest level so that every time a player steps between the lines, they are playing on the best ‘pitch’ they have ever encountered.

The Fields at Progin Park are meticulously maintained, periodically rested, and over seeded to ensure that each is of professional quality. The complex sits on 130 acres with 10 international-size fields near the intersection of Routes 2 and 70 in the so-called Drumlin Area. Five of these 10 fields are state-of-the-art all-weather Field Turf synthetic turf fields. The Drumlin Area provides parking, and a permanent main pavilion for registration, awards ceremonies, and more. Over the river and through the woods, quite literally, is the Quarry Area. This houses six more international-size natural grass fields.

Areas are available with picnic benches and outdoor grills. The complex also has a pavilion with restrooms, vending machines, an ATM, a concession stand, and an office. We have also installed lightning shelters throughout the complex to protect our visitors in the event of severe inclement weather.

NOTE: Plan an additional five to ten minutes at minimum for walking between the parking area and the fields on normal game days. There is another parking area west of Fields 11-15 which requires greater walking time. The overall parking situation becomes exceptionally challenging (to put it mildly) when large tournaments are being held at the facility.
