Parzival am See - Neuruppin
An der neu gestalteten Uferpromenade - bei Einheimischen heißt sie seit jeher "Bollwerk" - wacht "Parzival am See".
Die 17 Meter hohe Stahlskulptur hat der Künstler Matthias Zágon Hohl-Stein geschaffen. "Parzival am See" steht für ein neues Neuruppin ohne Garnison. Er gilt als Zeichen des Aufbruchs. Mit dem Windrad in der einen und der Arche in der anderen Hand (bewegliche Teile) wurde er 1998 an der Seepromenade anlässlich der Verleihung des Namens "Fontanestadt" enthüllt.
Auf einem Schild am Steg ist zu lesen:
Höhe ohne Sockel 17 Meter, mit Sockel 19 Meter
Maximale Breite 4,80 Meter (abhängig von den durch den Wind bewegbaren Teilen), Gewicht 5,5 Tonnen
Material: V4A Stahl, Sockel 100m3 Stahlbeton

Kleine Kuriosität: in seiner Brust in etwa 12 Metern Höhe gibt es eine Aussichtsmöglichkeit. Diese ist der Öffentlichkeit aber nie zugänglich gemacht worden.

Parzival am See - Neuruppin
"Parzival am See" keeps watch on the newly designed promenade - the locals have always called it "Bollwerk".
The artist Matthias Zágon Hohl-Stein created the 17 meter high steel sculpture. "Parzival am See" stands for a new Neuruppin without a garrison. It is considered a sign of departure. With the wind wheel in one hand and the ark in the other hand (moving parts), it was unveiled on the lake promenade in 1998 on the occasion of the awarding of the name "Fontanestadt".
A sign on the jetty reads:
Height without base 17 meters, with base 19 meters
Maximum width 4.80 meters (depending on the parts that can be moved by the wind), weight 5.5 tons
Material: V4A steel, base 100m3 reinforced concrete

Small curiosity: in its chest at about 12 meters high there is a viewpoint. However, this has never been made available to the public.
