Bulla Fire Station #1 - Firehouses on Waymarking.com

Fire Station #1 is located at 14181 N.E. 23rd Street in Choctaw. This is a one-story concrete block and brick building with a low-slope gable roof. There are four vehicle bays.

The Department has three stations, six paid staff and 20 volunteer firefighters. We were unable to determine the significance of the name "Bulla" on the building. We picked a great time to visit the station, in March, as the surrounding Bradford pear trees were in full bloom.

In front of the station is a wood carving of Smokey which was a pleasant surprise.
