This is a one-story tan brick building with a flat roof. The upper wall is decorated with recessed brick panels, separated by X-shaped brick designs.
There are two storefronts. 617 has two glass doors with large display windows. One occupancy is addressed 617; the other 617B. They are occupied as a hair salon. The occupancy at 619 has a decorative wood facade and a cloth awning and is occupied as an Edward Jones office.
A small cast stone panel at the center of the roof line reads: "E.J. HALLIFAX / 1915".
