View from the Astoria Column - Photos Then and Now on Waymarking.com

This view is from the top of the 125 foot Astoria Column in Astoria, OR.

I found the "then" picture on the Oregon Department of Transportation Historical Travel Photographs page. The pictures do not have dates, but they were taken between 1935 and 1984. These pictures clearly do not show the Astoria/Meller Bridge in them, which was started in 1961. So the photos are from the 1950's or earlier.
