RECOVERY NOTE BY NORTH CAROLINA GEODETIC SURVEY 1981 RECOVERED IN GOOD CONDITION. NEW DESCRIPTION FOLLOWS. MARK IS A USDA FOREST SERVICE DISK SET IN THE TOP OF THE SOUTHEAST PIER OF THE RAILROAD OVERPASS BRIDGE, APPROXIMATELY 0.2 MILE SOUTH OF THE NEW MUNICIPAL TANK, 4.2 FEET EAST OF EAST RAIL OF TRACK. THE MARK IS 2 FT BELOW TRACK.
