Kings Peak is not an easy mountain to bag, since it is quite a distance from any road. It is typically done by spending two nights backpacking near one of the lakes in upper Henry Fork basin. The round trip is close to 30 miles.
The mountain is in the High Uinta Range and is most commonly accessed by driving South from Wyoming to the Henry's Fork trailhead. Photos from our trip (August, 2005) are at (visit link)
Altitude in Feet: 13528
