The churchyard extends around the church and also contains a World War I memorial cross.

An interestuing memorial cross with a four-step square pediment carries the following text o three of the levels :-
"IN LOVING MEMORY OF NELLIE THE BELOVED WIFE OF

WILLIAM YEEND GIBBS OF CROWLE AND DAUGHTER OF WILLIAM BUTLER OF BIRMINGHAM WH DEPARTED THIS LIFE

OCTOBER 26. 1918. AGED 33 YEARS. IN LIFE A SOUL OF LOVE, HUMILITY AND SELF-SACRIFICE."
