[FR] L’idée derrière L’Envol vient de la mythologie grecque, Dodo Ose jumelant les mythes de Renommée, de Pégase et d’Arion au cœur de son allégorie. Le personnage de la Renommée symbolise la reconnaissance publique, alors que les chevaux à dompter représentent Pégase et Arion, soit la créativité et l’inspiration. Empreinte de mouvement, l’œuvre illustre par ailleurs l’essor ainsi que la vitalité démographique, économique et culturelle de Saint-Laurent. Enfin, les origines grecques de la famille Vriniotis, impliquée dans le choix de la thématique, trouvent également écho dans la murale.

[EN] The idea behind the flight comes from Greek mythology, Dodo dares combining the myths of fame, Pegasus and Arion at the heart of his allegory.
