"Art Deco-influenced former Church of Christ that now serves as the Whisenhunt Center for the Performing Arts (though Union Grove ISD); front gabled with composition shingle roof and stepped parapet, brick cladding, and original stained-glass windows and transoms; cast stone Gothic arch over front entrance; Art Deco-influenced zig zag designs on cast stone lintels; central double doors (replaced at main entrance, original at side entrance), accessed by set of wide front steps; on partial raised basement; some of basement windows have been enclosed; rear front-gabled ancillary building (ca. 1960) connected to rear elevation by hyphen and covered walkway; no visible cornerstone"
