Grey Towers Castle was one a private residence. It was built in 1893 by the renowned Horace Trumbauer. Its insporation was Alnwick Castle in Northumberland, England. Eventually the Castle and surrounding land became Beaver College. Eventually Beaver College became Arcadia University. The castle features several working garoyles as well as many interesting grotesques and other architectural carvings. The building was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1985.
