DOUGLAS LODGE
Architect: W.M. Dodd

Originally known as the Bank of Commerce Building when it was built in 1912, Douglas Lodge continues to be a landmark along Granville Street. Over the years the whimsical Georgian Revival structure has combined commercial and residential uses. Brick contrasted with cast stone and a variety of window shapes animate the facades. Renovations by architect Richard Henriquez in 1980 reinforce the building’s original design.
