From Old Northern Road you may not even realise that there is another large oval, to the west of the one you can see. Well, in between is a smallish, but suitable Playground for the younger children. (The older children will probably want to make use of the large space of either the two ovals.)

About half of the Playground is under a large rectangular, orange shade-sail with some artificial turf, and some areas with wood-chips, or natural turf. There is a 4-Swing Set, with two having the rubber sling seats, and one having the rubber board seat for the narrow-waisted, and the other with a 'black basket', suitable for the infant.

A tunnel Slippery Slide comes down from an oval mound, with a much smaller metal-based Slippery Slide coming down from a 'Castle' / House frame, which accessed on one side with a rubber-mat-surfaced, shallow concaved ramp, or a set of stairs on the other side.

There is a three-armed Pommel-bar seated rotating Swing - it would be interesting to see that in action. There is also a Swinging-circular mat suspended from three curved steel posts. A small Spinning 'Hurdy-Girdy' with three handrails would bring back memories for the adults, who may have used them last century.

There is nearby parking, toilets, and a couple of benches for the carers to relax on.
