A sundial mounted on a plinth in the churchyard of St Mary's church, Welford. The dial was placed to mark the year 2000 by the Welford Women's Institute (inaugurated in 1927).
The inner disc is inscribed with the hours, and the motto 'Make time, save time. While time lasts. All time is no time. When time pases'. An outer ring is marked with the cardinal directions and arrows pointing in the directions to some of the other nearby churches.
