Renaissance chateau was built on the foundations of a Gothic fortress. In 1693 Baroque was modified by the builder B. Canevallo. The ground plan of the building is shaped like an irregular corner and consists of 5 wings.

At the end of the 18th century, the manufactory was located in the castle and, from 1855, also higher forestry school. In 1960 Renaissance frescoes with mythological motifs were restored in the courtyard facades. Today the chateau is used by the regional museum.

Renesancní zámek (visit link) vznikl na základech gotické tvrze. V roce 1693 byl barokne upraven stavitelem B. Canevallem, pri cemž získal 30 metru vysoké vežovité prucelí. Pudorys budovy má tvar nepravidelného úhelníku a tvorí ho 5 krídel.
Koncem 18. století byla do zámku umístena manufaktura a od roku 1855 známé vyšší lesnické ucilište. V roce 1960 byly na nádvorních fasádách obnoveny renesancní fresky s mytologickými motivy.
Dnes zámecké prostory využívá regionální muzeum.

Ve stálé expozice muzea, které se nachází v reprezentativních prostorách belského rane barokního zámku, jsou dochovány unikátní drevené kolorované záklopové stropy, návštevníkum vlastivedne predstaví region Belska a Podbezdezí.
