Carnegie is the tribal headquarters of the Kiowa Tribe. Their buildings, including the Kiowa Trial Museum are located on Highway 9 on the west side of Carnegie.

North of the museum is an area known as Warrior Walk where monuments stand honoring Kiowa tribesmen who served in various wars. At the north end of Warrior Walk is a large monument, sponsored by the American War Mothers Kiowa Chapter 18 honoring those from the Kiowa Tribe who were killed in action during World War II, Korea, Vietnam and Iraq. North of this monument is a brick walk leading to a tree dedicated to each of the eleven soldiers. The walk has approximately 150 names engraved, sponsors for this tree memorial.
