In the year 1765 the Burmese invaded Thailand and a group of Burmese soldiers raided this region of Thailand. For 8 months the local people defended their land against the Burmese. This museum describes their battle.
The Museum displays a variety of information: relics from the time, diorama, text displays, videos, and other material. In additional to the actual battle, there is sizeable amount of information on general local history. Nearby is a major monument to the warriors of the time.
There is little English on display. The Museum is some distance from the provincial capital, local transport or a taxi. Admission free.
