This framed parchment honour roll can be found inside St. Paul's Church in Ramsey.This little Memorial was the first to be put up on the Island.

This wooden-framed parchment honour roll can be found inside St. Paul's Church in Ramsey.The honour roll is hung below a small crucifix. Beneath the honour roll is an inscribed brass tag. It was the first WWI memorial put up on the Isle Man being dedicated on 27th January 1918.

The wording of the honour roll is as follows:
"REMEMBER,[in red ink followed by the following text in black ink] the Men of Ramsey
who fell in the Conflict or Died
of Wounds or Sickness

This little Memorial was the first to
be put up on the Island. It stood in a
Frame in front of the Church and was
Dedicated on Sunday, January 27th, 1918.

There was a List in a Frame, beneath, names being added from
time to time at the request of Relatives or Friends."
