This wooden-framed parchment honour roll can be found inside St. Paul's Church in Ramsey.The honour roll is hung below a small crucifix. Beneath the hnour roll is an inscribed brass tag. The wording of the honour roll is as follows: "REMEMBER,[in red ink followed by the following text in black ink] the Men of Ramsey who fell in the Conflict or Died of Wounds or Sickness =========== This little Memorial was the first to be put up on the Island. It stood in a Frame in front of the Church and was Dedicated on Sunday, January 27th, 1918. =========== There was a List in a Frame, beneath, names being added from time to time at the request of Relatives or Friends." =========== An alphabetical list of 112 in three columns The names inscribed on the plaque are as follows: In the first coloumn: ACHESON, JAMES H.
