The Glascock Building #1 is one of three buildings constructed in 1938 for W.D. Glascock. A number of businesses have occupied the space including a drug store, cafe, clothing store, and antique store. It was purchased in 1976 by Vi and Walter Eckerman. It is significant for representing a mid-20th-century stage of commercial development and architecture in Blanco.
