The Kellam-Galbreath house was built for Mr. and Mrs. Ben Kellam and used during their ownership as a boarding house. Signage from this period is still evident. The Kellams sold the property to Mamie and Arthur Galbreath in 1928-29; they occupied it until 1970. Llene Waggoner (niece) inherited the house and later passed it to her daughter and current resident, Reta Martin. The house is significant as a good example of early 20th century domestic architecture. It retains a high degree of integrity.
