Texas Historic Site Atlas

The Cage Building was built in 1908 for Jack Cage to be used as a general store. It remained in the Cage family until 1955 when sold to Alvin Kneupper. In 1966 the property passed to the Kneupper's daughter and present owners Marina and Jerry Lindeman. The building is significant for its contribution to the early commercial development in Blanco. Its design is typical of early 20th century commercial buildings and, despite some alterations, retains a high degree of integrity.
