The Visitor Centre in Radium Hot Spring is located at 7556 Main Street East with easy access from Highway 95.
We stopped by for tourist information and were greeted by a very friendly and helpful young lady who answered all our questions. We then proceeded upstairs to see the museum displays. It was a very pleasant surprise to see the animal displays, a relief map of the Columbia Valley, a
Ktunaxa Nation Timeline, and several displays about the impact of fires in the region.
Much more than just a "Visitor Centre", the
Town of Radium considers it to be a Welcome Centre, a Marketing Centre, a Technology Centre, a Knowledge and Education Centre, an Information Centre, a Crisis Centre, a Community Centre and a Retail Centre.
A
virtual tour of the visitor centre is available at the town website.
