Cornerstone of the second St Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Perth, built in 1898 to replace the original church, built in 1832. The original church was too small for the growing congregation, so the new church was built.
The cornerstone was laid in 1897, with services beginning in 1898.
This church, in turn, was destroyed by fire in 1923. The present church foundation was laid in 1927, with first services in 1928.
