Jahrhundert.

[EN] The Nikolaikirche dates back to the 13th century. The church stands on the Siegberg, the center of the medieval old town. It has a hexagonal plan; the nave is the only European Hexagon hall north of the Alps. In top of the bell tower of St. Nicholas Church there is the symbol of the town of Siegen, a forged and gilded crown with two meters in diameter from the 17th century.
