The Czechoslovak government built a system of border fortifications, as well as some fortified defensive lines inland, from 1935 to 1938 as a defensive countermeasure against the rising threat of Nazi Germany. The objective of the fortifications was to prevent the taking of key areas by an enemy (not only Germany but also Hungary) by means of a sudden attack before the mobilization of the Czechoslovak army could be completed, and to enable effective defense until allies (Britain and France and possibly the Soviet Union) could help.

The trail along the Czechoslovak fortifications from 1936-1938 allows you to see a complete part of the heavy and light line of fortifications in the direction of Nachod town. The tour now leads to the crossroad on the outskirts of the municipality Dobro§ov, where it divides. The right branch continues along the heavy fortification line towards Nachod-Beloves. This area also contains the casemates N-S 81 Lom (visit link) and N-S 82 Brezinka (visit link) , which is reconstructed into its original form including armature. The left branch leads around the second planned artillery building of fortress Dobrosov and then further along the ruins of the building of the second line of light fortification model 37 to Nachod-Beloves as well (table number 11, 13-15). The trail crosses with the fortress Dobro§ov hiking trail along its route several times and with regular Czech Tourist Club markings.
