A small church,John Knowles, built in the centre of Hoyland Nether. It was built by his sister and dedicated to him. Church became redundant in later years but has recently been reopened occassionaly for visiting and services.


On one of these visits it was confirmed a chapel bell was still in the tower, but the bell rope which originally hung down into the doorway was no longer fitted.
Work is being carried out to bring the building back to original condition.
