In 1973 the National Park Service acquired the land adjacent to and including Louis’ Restaurant. The facility became part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) and Louis’ Restaurant became a concessioner of the National Park Service.

Louis' Restaurant is between the Cliff House and the new Lands End Lookout. It has a great view of Seal Rock, the Pacific Ocean and the Sutro Baths ruins.

Louis' is open every day from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM. For breakfast they have eggs, omelets, scrambles, benedicts, pancakes, waffles and cereals. Their menu also includes soups, salads, sandwiches, hot entrees, desserts and beverages.

Louis' can be seen in Google Street View.
