It takes the form of a cross with a stone figure of Christ attached to it.
The inscriptions, for the Great War, are along the sides of the bottom two steps
with an additional inscription, for the Second World War, resting on the top
step.
The main inscription reads:
To the Memory and Honour of the Men in Connection
with this Parish whi fell in the Great War 1914-1918
"I sent you out with mourning and weeping
but God will give you to me again with joy and gladness for ever.
