This station was built in 1968, is 30 meters below street level and has 4 tubes. But only two of them are in use for the lines U2 and U4, one in the direction of Berliner Tor the other in the direction of Jungfernstieg. The other two tubes have never been finished and are not accessible. U2 and U4 use the same tracks between Billstedt and Jungfernstieg.
