This subway station is part of the public transportation system in Hamburg, Germany. It was built from 1967 to 1969 and finally opened on September 28th, 1969. Soon (2013), this will also be the terminus for the new U4 HafenCity line. "Billstedt" is also the major bus junction in the east of Hamburg for 28 lines.
