This is one of three Craftsman-style Bungalows built for William H. Byrd in the lots immediately south of his Queen Anne/Eastlake house on the corner of 14th and Chemeketa streets. This particular house is the southernmost of the three and features a front gable with a secondary front gable to protect the front entryway.
