Blockhouse Island is a very busy spot in the summer time and has a ton of things to do from watching the ships go by to eating an ice cream from the local shop. I could've literally done 15 waymarks here, but decided upon 7, perhaps I'll do another in the near future. The Lucky 7 is as follows:
#1: The Tall Ships Landing - Marine Discovery Center (Brockville, Ontario (Building Buildings). When I first published this waymark the building only had two floors, it's now on it's way to 7 and counting. It'll be nice to see the finished product for comparison. (

#2: Don's Fish and Chips is a place where everyone goes for fish and chips. They are famous all around Ontario, Quebec and New York for their food. (

#3: The Wildcat is a new attraction for the 1000 Islands Boat Tours this year. It's a sleek and fast catamaran that goes 70 km/hr, playing loud music and cruising the islands. It's been hugely popular this year. (

#4: Brockville, Ontario Municipal Flag hangs over the oldest and first train tunnel in Canada. (

#5: Water Survey of Canada 84-1 is a benchmark located on the south side of the island, very close to the water. As a bonus, if you look in the water right here, you'll see two anchors that some local divers tried to remove from the river before being caught. (

#6: Con Darling Memorial - Blockhouse Island is a statue and plaque memorializing Brockville's most well known and loved clown. (

#7: The Brockville "Van" or Caboose is an old Canadian Pacific Caboose that serves as a reminder to Brockville's past as a railway town. (

I hope you have as much fun finding these cool waymarks as I did.
Cheers
