The building located at 201-203 E. 6th Street was constructed in 1905. It is a two-story brick building in the Richardsonian Romanesque style. The building has three bays, with the center bay having a stepped pediment with a stone panel reading "1905 BAKER MABREY".
The upper floor has tall, arched windows with keystones, two in each bay. They are covered and the upper floor is not currently in use. The three storefronts have been modernized with aluminum and glass doors and windows. The entrance is in the left bay, with double doors to the right and display windows on the left. The center and right bays have large display windows. The building is currently occupied by Golden Rule Pawn Shop.
A flat, metal awning stretches across the storefronts, anchored with tie-rods. The clerestories have been covered with diagonal wood planking, some of which has fallen off.
This building is Item 35 on the District nomination.
