The McCullough Building is a six-story red brick and terracotta building constructed in 1926. This office building was designed by Smith & Senter in the 2nd Renaissance Revival style. The building has five distinct bays facing Grand, and six bays facing 5th Street.
The ground floor is clad in white terracotta with a cornice between the first and second floors. A frieze panel runs the perimeter of the building, with cast swag and floral designs. The main entrance facing Grand has a flat metal awning, supported by chains from the wall. Each bay has a full height and width fixed panel tinted window.
The second through fifth floors have triple windows in each bay with brick pilasters. Above the fifth floor, a terracotta cornice is decorated with arches and embellishment. The sixth floor is clad in terracotta. The rectangular windows each have a terracotta arch above. This floor has been occupied as a Masonic Temple since construction.
This property is Item 10 on the District nomination.
