The two-story brick building at 314 E. 6th was built in 1922 in the Early Commercial style. It is currently used as the Parts Department for Harlan Motors, and has had very little updating from its original state.

The roof line has a stepped parapet with a cast stone coping. Beneath this is a row of corbeled brick, and a row of cast stone and brick, which provides its design.

The upper level has eight fixed window panes, with stone sills and lintels. The original storefront on the east side of the ground level has three wood-framed glass display windows and clerestories. At the center of the facade is a wood framed entry, with an aluminum-framed glass entry door. The west storefront is an open garage, which is original to the building.

This building is Item 42 on the District nomination.
